After Oregon, things were busy busy. There was an air show at Hill AFB that Shane had to work :( That week, Shane's parents and sister with her husband came out for Codi's graduation! I had to work that weekend, and they were long days so there wasn't a lot of family time. Graduation night was nice and now Codi is taking an EMT course. Who knows what's next! After the graduation, that following week Shane took his parents down to Moab for a week. Looking at the pictures...they had a good time! I'm jealous :P
Once he got back, I turned around and flew out to Florida for some training. Some of it was beneficial, but I could have been happy not going too ;)

I flew back on a Saturday and met Shane and Codi down at the Gateway for the Chalk Art Festival. I was expected some cool 3D chalk art but there was only a few of those. The theme was super heroes, but then there was some random other art :) It was a nice evening and we had a nice dinner down there.
That Sunday was Father's Day and Shane wanted to check out the beer festival up at Snowbird. I wasn't in the best of moods (sort of tired from the Florida trip) but I went and it was pretty and nice to be up in the mountains.
This weekend, we went down to the apartment to start packing things up. Shane already went down while I was on my many trips and moved the furniture. So now it's all the annoying things we have to move. The plan is to have everything out and cleaned before my big work evaluation! So, I'll be stopping there after work on a regular basis to nickel and dime this. It was also the weekend of the yearly art festival. We went and walked around but were really disappointed with the music line up this year :( Oh well, on Sunday we loaded up his car and head back up to the house. It worked out well...how we packed and what not. I do not miss the fact that my apartment does not have A/C, especially this past weekend when it was about 100 degrees out! UGH
At one point we were taking a packing break... Shane sitting on cardboard boxes, myself on a tool chest eating peanut butter and crackers with Gatorade to drink and I got quiet. Shane teased me saying that I was thinking "am I doing the right thing? moving in with Shane?" I told him him "no, that's not what I'm thinking. I was thinking that I am once again packing up my stuff and moving." I'm kinda tired about that but life is a moving target and well... I get bored quickly ;) It's good, and it's good timing. We've know each other for a wee bit and dating for a year and I'm pretty much living with him anyway. No point in keeping an apartment!
Next weekend is VEGAS BABY! Shane is surprising me with a weekend trip to Vegas, but not only that we are going to see EVERCLEAR! I can't wait! This weekend is going to drag by :( Oh well, I'll stay busy with moving :P
