HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!
This is actually my third fourth of July with Marcia and David, but it's my first without a date! LOL Marcia pointed that out and we had a good laugh.
The day itself was a lazy, get ready for the party sort of day. One of the folks coming over was doing the major cooking. So other than appetizers, getting the place ready, and games figured out we had it easy. We even got some festive stuff for drinks... other than the classic bucket o' beer.
By the end of the night... this drink station wasn't so neat :D
The main dish was a Louisiana fish fry, but we started off with some good ol spicy shrimp, corn, sausages.... IT WAS SO GOOD!
I'm still getting use to my new camera so some of the pics didn't turn out :( We played a cucumber passing game, and also a game that required whip cream and bubble gum! It was fun. Of course the night ended with fireworks.
Here is Joe, and the new boxer addition Gretchen. Yes, she is a tad older than Joe but they are good together :D
