Relaxing Day (pics)

Well, it's my laundry day before heading back to soap making and it's been a busy few days. Friday night with the Rocky Horror Picture Show! It was so much fun! It was the play (not the movie), and it was in a small cozy theatre. Only a handful of people were dressed up but we didn't feel out of place. We got a goody bag for $5 so we could "participate". We got to yell out "slut, asshole, and boring" at the actors, just to mention a few call outs. We also had confetti we could throw, a rubber glove to put on, a newspaper, a roll of toilet paper, and some playing cards! It was more risque than the movie-a lot of sexual innuendos and gyrating on the stage...but it was hilarious!
Then it was my guard weekend :( Saturday I had to be there at 630, and that was AM :( We did some training so I got to hang out in MOPP 4 in a hanger. So I had sweat dripping off of me and to make matters better: I had a new chem gear suit thus I had charcoal everywhere! Part of my laundry today is washing that damn suit and trying to get a majority of the charcoal out! In the afternoon we had other training and I took care of some of my in processing stuff-talked with the first shirt, that sort of thing. Sunday is the day we do the physicals so we are busy with patients. I did all the pregnant interviews and helped with other things, oh and I went and did the food inspection with my OIC. It was a good drill weekend, just long and tiring.
Yesterday I went and had a campus tour of UH. Yes I'm looking at switching school already! It's cuz of $, with the new GI bill if I"m going to a state school it will be like a full ride and more than likely I wouldn't have to work and I could save a lot of money. So after this fall semester I'll probably be going to UH. I'm just tired of changing schools but I should have done more research before settling on HPU. I really didn't look into anything else. Dad had some coworkers over for dinner last night so I hung out and listened to them talk shop. Plus they both spent time in Okinawa so we swapped stories and favorite restaurants:)
So today is lazy day but I got karate this evening :( Oh well, it's good for me...in one way or another :P

Life is work!

Every day at work I see it, people wanted a quick fix or an easy way to feel/do better.  They always seem a little surprised when I say that...
