I hope everyone had a Happy Earthday:) Granted it was probably like any other day for most folks but I hope the thought crossed your minds.
Mom bought me a lucky bamboo in celebration of the day:) She's cool. Also, so you all know, 3 stalks in a lucky bamboo plant is for happiness:) That's what I got.
I watched Oprah, not a norm for me, and bought a book Gorgeously Green. It's about being more earth friendly etc. Something that I'm trying to do. At work I've noticed that some people come in and they don't want a bag for their purchases! Good for them! A lot of small steps go a long way!
Yesterday was a my day off and I pretty much laid low. Did laundry, cleaned my room etc. All that fun stuff.
Mom and I talked about Phoenix and his lack of listening/follow threw/trust/etc. and we got a new game plan for him. The good ol time out. Dad has used this already, he sits on the couch or outside with Dad and Dad talks to him about what he did. Well that's good, but there is a lot of stuff going on outside or even on the couch. So I mentioned sticking his nose in the corner for 7 min(cuz of his age). He can't look outside (no windows in the corner), mess with the dogs, look at people etc. We told Phoenix about this new plan yesterday and he seemed to understand. So far we haven't had to use it, but it's only been one day.
Dad gets home from his TDY today. He was just gone a few days and I know Mom will be Happy!
Well I need some breakfast and to get ready for work.
Cheers!
