On Sunday with the HIANG was good. That's the day they do their physicals. I got to meet the rest of the unit and started my MDS in processing. Next UTA I'll start the WG in processing. Everyone is really nice and friendly. Even though I didn't "talk" to everyone I got good vibes from everyone. The BEEs and PH are having a dinner get together on the 16th that I'm looking forward to. One of the BEEs, a MSgt, was very nice and said that I am now one of their little sista's and whatever I need to just give them a call...and I could tell it was sincere. I didn't feel awkward by this....I felt the Aloha and the ohana:) I made a good choice with the HIANG! At the end of the day we had a promotion ceremony and we did it outside and fell into formation and everything. This laid back group was more military than my reserve unit:) We enjoyed it, had some chuckles but we all knew what to do and it went smooth. I was impressed. After the ceremony it was time to eat! And this wasn't a burger and hot dog deal, it was yakisoba, steak, sausage, white rice, salad, deserts, and beer! Yep, I'm going to like it here:)
I made it home at 6:30 and by that time Mom was worn out by Phoenix and his constant talking. She took the girls for a walk and I watched Phoenix and once she got home she took a shower. After that it was bed time. Hell I was ready.
I worked at the Soap Factory yesterday and thank goodness it was the closing shift. So I got to take it easy until 1! Today and tomorrow are days off for me and I got errands and stuff to do.
I'm still doing good with the meds and I do feel better. I have a sense of motivation back. I need to call the needle man back today-he called yesterday to see how things were going for me.
