Night 2 of kung fu fighting. Not as torturous as the first night. After a 20 minute warm up (no weird ab circle thingys), we learned how to fall. So that wasn't too bad. Mom rather it be like Tuesday with all the horse stances cuz she doesn't like the falling stuff. Not me! So it was better-I hope Mom sticks with it.
After class we have to help clean up and put things back-class is in a rec center. Well they have these carts with tables on them and they weren't easy to steer around cuz I didn't realize only one end was movable with the rotating wheels-the teacher pointed it out and this other lady (brown belt) said "it's like steering a fork lift", my reply was "yeah I do that all the time too!" WTF? I said it with a smile/jokingly so maybe she didn't think it was all attitudy.
Class was also better tonight cuz it was Mom and I (little white belts) and two yellow belts-so our beginner group was a little bit bigger. The instructor seemed more friendly today also-and that makes things better too.
This morning I can feel it, I'm sore:( I'm drinking my coffee then I'm going to do some yoga. No running this morning (which means Saturday morning I'll have to run:( ) I've been doing pretty good-I try to run Mon, Wed, and Fri (at least 3x a week). Wednesday this week when I was getting ready to take off, Mom asked if I'd rather go to the beach-so...it was a nice change of pace, but a little chilly. We swam, made up water work outs, and took off after like 30 minutes.
Well that's that. I'm ready for the weekend! :)
