Busy...Busy

My school wasn't all that:( But I talked to an advisor so I know what I classes that I need to start off with:) So this morning I registered for 3 classes starting in September... costing me $5011! I haven't even bought the freakn' books yet! Oh well, thank God for the GI Bill!
I passed my fitness test-YEAH. But I am going to try to continue working out and running, wish me luck on that. My drill weekend was fine, just tiring.
I had stuff to write but I'm drawing a blank now :(

My day downtown was interesting on Friday to say the least-the following is a cut and paste from an email I sent to Clay: Yes I am too lazy to retype my escapades! ha ha ha

True to my Mom and I's form in attracting weirdos...I met
Kathy (she's 58, did some work somewhere, is on her 3rd marriage has 4
kids, is with a black Jamaican now) and Jason (homeless drug dealer who
things I"m a catch cuz I"m going to school/got a job/ and no keike
(kids) just a dog-I don't know if he's a drug dealer or not but he
wouldn't tell me what he did but he looked like a bum but he said "he"
was a good catch). This is what happens when I show up early for
something! So, the orientation was a no brainer-they went over the
pipeline (school Internet stuff) and I got more free stuff (another
bumper sticker and a lanyard). I asked if I should talk to an advisor
at the downtown campus or the windward side cuz I was going into
nursing-she said winward. So I drove to the winward campus and talked
to the parking guard (Norman) and he let me park closer than most:)
Went in and saw the advisor who was really cool and she is going to look
into some of my other classes to see if they transfer over-she thinks
they should but isn't sure why the school didn't catch them...like my
math/art/and lit classes.
Then I went to the Ala Moana mall
(http://www.alamoanacenter.com/), OMG it's huge! and high end! They
had a Jimmy Choo store (shoes) and even a Tiffany's! They had a lot of
stores that had door guards! WTF, it was like the Cesar Shops in
Vegas! I let one of the kiosk people try to sell me a hair
straightener, I actually put a deposit down on the thing:( He "said"
it's a $250 hair straightener but I locked in the price of $99. It
really did a good job and my hair was really soft after words...blah
blah blah. Also when I do buy it I get VIP treatment so whenever I need
my hair done, then I just go back there and they will do it for free.
So eventually I'll go back and buy the stupid thing. It was
entertaining. I hit up the non eco friendly Jamba Juice and then got a
free face color thingy-the make up that I order on line has a store
there and I wanted to see if I am using the right color. According the
the heavy handed make up wielding person, I'm not. I don't want to SEE
my makeup on my face! I could see it on her! EWWW But it was free!

So that's that. I just dropped off Phoenix and vacation bible study and I'll be picking him up in a couple of hours. So I have the house all to myself:) :) :) I got things to take care of but oh well.
Tomorrow I'm going to hit up the beach for some R&R!

Life is work!

Every day at work I see it, people wanted a quick fix or an easy way to feel/do better.  They always seem a little surprised when I say that...
