Last night I went to a wedding with Mom. It was at Paradise Cove, right on the beach. It was beautiful and a very nice ceremony. While Mom and I were sitting there waiting we were chit chatting. The last time I was at a wedding was when Marcia got married, not to David, but to the other guy. I was in high school! I told Mom I was scarred for life becuz of that: she had me wear a dress that I hated and my hair was all poofy. My dress was like a little kids dress and my hair was like an adult woman! I looked odd! LOL Since then I've been to more baby showers than weddings-which in my opinion is backwards.
Overall it was a beautiful ceremony! They had some cool things going on. When people showed up for the wedding, they would take a Polaroid pic and put it in a book that you would sign. They also gave everyone a CD with a collection of love songs. They had some traditional Hawaiian stuff going on that was neat. A gentleman said some prayers in Hawaiian and sang a song in the beginning. Don't know what all it meant but it sounded awesome. It was a relaxing, laid back environment which was cool.
We are having a VOG issue (yes that is a real issue-look it up), but even with that, it was lovely.
