No Complaints....and some of my own thoughts

Anyway...Life is good. This next month or so is going to be hell at the soap factory. I got a lot of shifts but the end is near. Starting in June I "should" be straight production AND I will go back to being a part time employee. Right now I'm working about 5 days a week and the other day I worked 9 hrs. So....I said something to boss lady yesterday morning just to make sure this isn't going to be an on going thing. She said no and she did put an ad in the paper to hire a new retail person.
In May the guard unit is also doing a 5 day long exercise, 12 hour shifts and all. So I'm definitely going to need some R&R after all of this.
Tomorrow, Mom, me, and two other girls are going to go surfing! Or at least attempt it. Hopefully it will go good and we all make it out alive! ha ha
I started this with so much to say and now I'm drawing a blank.
Anyhoo....I've been reading this book that my great friend mailed to me: "A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life's Purpose". Yes is was on Oprah, I didn't see that episode though. I also recently got an email clip from another friend that had something on utube about this book and how it's taking Catholics away from God. BS! I'm almost done with the book and I have yet to see how this book takes you away from your religion. If Catholics are denouncing their religion cuz of this book they were weak and wanted a reason to go. If anything this book as influenced me to get back into my religion. Enough on that...
The book is really cool, but if you try to read it before you want a change in your life I don't think you will get it. It basically talks about living in the present, the now. I, for one, is very mental (not pyscho mind you) but I think a lot. I think a lot about the past, the future, and I make up scenarios in my head of what might happen. The book explains how life is so much better once you get out of your head, and let go of one's ego. It's interesting. Mom is going to check it out when I'm done and we'll see what she thinks. She's always been religious, not hit you over the head with the bible thumper religious, but she's always has a good foundation. Well, lately she's been going through her own religious renewal with a bible study she's going to and she's been learning a lot about God, the bible, and herself. So I am curious to see how the book goes over with her. It's not a very thick book, but if anyone reads it...make sure you can completely focus on it. Watching t.v., radio blaring etc. is not good when reading this book.

Mom got Queen Elizabeth, the first portion, from netflix and we watched it last night. It was my second time (Joseph Finnes is FINE) Anyway....I love the movie due to the fact she was such a powerful women back in the day. She was not scared, intimidated, by the men around her. She chose not to marry just for her country, and for awhile kept a lover and was ashamed that others new about it. Something that the women did not do-but it was o.k. for me (it's all about the double standard HA HA). But on the same note it is a sad movie. In the beginning she is full of live, and love but through out the movie you see her gradually morf into the virgin queen with her pale expressionless face. She did a lot of good, but why couldn't she have both? A happy, life filled women, and a great country with loyal people? Why couldn't she have the love of her life? Anyway....part 2 of the saga is on it's way. I don't think Joseph Finnes is going to have much of a part but we will see. The whole thing got me thinking of a women president, not that I'm wanting the candidate that's out there now....But think about it. She was getting blasted for being non-emotional, not approachable...then she sheds some tears somewhere on the campaign and she's bullied for that. Strong women can have emotions! Hell, strong men....men in generally have emotions but society as taught them to not show emotions. Just like strong women. Cuz to be a strong women, you need to have traits like man...show no fear/emotion/ and don't back down. That's wrong! Keeping all that shit in makes for an unhappy person: male or female. Emotions are not bad! They are just a physical reaction to something that is going on, it's our physical release of emotions. So if we ever get a female president will she not only have the stress of running this great nation, but also the stress of being approachable, and yet cold hearted to make the big decisions?
I just don't know....
