I'm looking forward to my tour of the HPU campuses tomorrow! I'll find out everything that I need to do to get set up to start taking classes:) Today is my third day of getting use to closing the store. It's not hard, but I don't like dealing with the money. I don't know if it's me or what...but the register hasn't matched up yet :( Plus I keep getting trained differently. The end result is the same but everyone has their own way to get there. It's nice to see the different ways, but I just need to find out what works for me. After today I'm not sure when I work next but that's o.k. I need to go to the beach more anyways. I had a couple of customers that said they saw like 12 sea turtles on the beach! Every time I've gone I haven't seen any :( Maybe on Friday I'll go early and spend the morning at the beach in hopes of seeing them:)
Yesterday before work I took care of my laundry and just did odds and ends. Today I gave Sami a trim, tried to get rid of her dread locks, and then gave her a bath. She's such a cutie :) I gave her butt a good trim so I can avoid the crappy butt syndrome, so now it really looks like a little bunny butt! She's such a good dog:)
I got time before work so I'm going to study my Japanese a little...I bought some books to see if I can get some of the basics down. It will be so helpful at work. I think that a majority of them play stupid with understanding English...that's what a lot of them did in Okinawa, which is fine. I just don't like feeling like an idiot trying to get them to try the body scrubs!
Anyway...that's about it for now. I know I've been slacking these past few days on my blog, it was brought to my attention:), I've had some thinking to do and I didn't feel very social even via the internet.
I'll try and get some pics taken and posted, so that you guys back in Utah may feel the warmth:)
