HAPPY HAPPY HALLOWEEN

First off a funny story:
We live next to an older women who is taking care of her mom, to the best of my knowledge is a little hard of hearing or is just tired of listening to her daughter yell at her. A few times a day we get to hear the daughter yell at her mom, which isn't nice but it's not like she's cursing her or whatever, it's more of an irritation yell. Well last night Dad and I heard the funniest thing so far in awhile. The daughter yelled at the mom, "YOU GOING TO EAT NOW OR NEVER?!" Granted writing it isn't as funny as hearing it, they are Asian nationality, but it was funny!
Anyhoo... today is my favorite holiday and for an added bonus I don't have to work like I originally thought! YEAH. So I have a day off of relaxation before having to go and do my military training for the next 4 days! WHOO HOO
I don't have any plans for today or tonight but whatever, I'm not working. Dad is going to try and come home early today so he can help Mom with the rest of the decorations. I'll take pics for sure.
Update on my school stuff. Well I went and talked to a nursing advisor who confirmed that the requirements will be changing regularly AND they are looking at changing the whole system as a whole. He broke down a "game plan for me" which had me killing myself with classes (like no time to breathe) but I "would" start IN the nursing program Spring of '10. Once I'm IN the nursing program that's an additional 2 1/2 yrs! So, I will be in school for 4 1/2 yrs just to get a BSN!!!! That's fine and dandy if I wasn't a transfer student and I just got of high school but I got a shit load of credits, medical credits even! SO I went and talked to a regular advisor as said "If I decided to get my BA in social science, what would my game plan be?" I would HAVE my BA by the summer of '10!!!! HELLO!
I have an appointment with career services on Wednesday to see what I could do with that BA. I'm also going to talk with UH again. I need to figure out what's going on with my transcripts today-a couple of the schools didn't send them in BUT they took my money?! Fkrs, so I'm going to take care of that mess.
Seanny update: 10 more days! We got his scooter set up for shipment and he's still busy with his long good byes and getting every thing set up to come out here. He talks about how cold it's getting out there, I think he said something like in the 30's at night.... um it's 8 am here and I'm in shorts and a tank top with my windows open and the fans blowing. Not only is the poor boy going to get a culture shock but a weather shock too!
Well I need to get my day started and start taking care of stuff.
I'm just so happy that I have this day off:)
