Alright, Seanny has been here a week and we still love each other :) LOL He flew in late Monday night and I had a manly lei for him and then we headed to the room I got for us in Waikiki. It was about 2 blocks from the beach. It was nice! Below is a pic from our balcony.
Seanny's first meal in Hawaii was at Denny's. I KNOW, not what he expected but it was midnight and not a lot of stuff was open but clubs. I saw some interesting women downtown. Nothing like a skimpy bathing suit, heels, and a half jean jacket for a night on the town! I wonder what her occupation was?! :P The next morning we walked to the Shorebird for brunch. This place is right on the beach so we had an awesome view of the water and Diamond Head, and it's all open. Just beautiful. We walked around a bit and eventually found ourselves at the HD dealer. All the places we ate at downtown were awesome! When it was time to head home we took Kam HWY the long way around the island. No words can really describe it. I've posted pics before of that drive, but they really don't do justice.
Unfortunately once we got home it was time for me to hit the books again, as a matter of fact that is what I'm suppose to be doing right now :( ugh. Seanny loves it here... whoohoo. Yes, I was a little concerned about that and how it would be in this small house but we are just fine. I couldn't be happier-well I could if we had our own place ;) But there is no hurry cuz this is very good for us financially! THANKS MOM AND DAD!
Every time I have Seanny try something that's a local fav he likes it and I just feel good. One, I've always enjoyed introducing new things to people in hopes that they like it and two....he's happy here. Before coming out here I know he was telling everyone that he's more excited to be with me, Hawaii is just the place I'm at. That's awesome and that's how it should be with couples, but if the place is shitty...well that puts some unneeded stress on relationships. I LOVE that he appreciates the beauty here. Some people over look it or eventually get immune to it, which is sad. Hawaii is constantly surprising me with her beauty and what she has to offer and now it's even better cuz I have my love to share it with :)
One thing I will never forget Seanny saying is when we were driving toward Kaneohe and he looked at me as said "and you were going to move to Baltimore?!" I had to laugh and later on my Dad pointed it out to Seanny that I do really love him, cuz I would have moved to Baltimore if things had worked out that way but....God has his own plans and here we are.
Well, I need to get started on that stupid paper :( Seanny is out at the store getting some bacon :) Yes, he cooks ladies and he cooks very well! He made some awesome dinner the other night! He's just awesome! and like he is always saying, "I love those facebook people!"
On to school work..... :(
